I have an ongoing lifelong love affair with the printed word. Not unlike a miser's treasure, the bounty of my riches (books read and books to be read) is very pleasing to my eye. What do I mean by my ratings? 5 stars -- Excellent. This book is a beloved friend who I will relish visiting time and time again. 4 stars -- Very good. 3 stars -- Fair. Enjoyable but forgettable 2 stars -- Poor. Oh dear, look what a waste of precious time this was. The hope that the story would at some point improve proved false. 1 star -- Horrible. Poking my eyeballs with a spoon would have been a more savory experience.
